Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernest Renney started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Connell during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of York booed when Fairylands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Connell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Corder Mogork elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Brant Andrews might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Sedgman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brant Andrews ran back to his position shaking his head. Brant Andrews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Sedgman having to interfere. After 18 played minutes York got a freekick which was hit by Brent Wadley. If Rolando Angell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, York was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Sibbold to maneuver through the defense. Corder Mogork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Brant Andrews left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fairylands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Corder Mogork fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ike Shortus having to interfere. Ike Shortus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernest Renney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Angell to make the kick off. Damon Will hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Braedan Cawthorne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ike Shortus skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th match minute, Fairylands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Stageman to maneuver through the defense. York's Ronald Sedgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Angell in the 60th minute of play. Rolando Angell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. York's Ernest Renney got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ike Shortus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corder Mogork in the 69th minute of play. Ernest Renney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ike Shortus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. York's Ronald Sedgman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save York from getting a goal against them. Rolando Angell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ronald Sedgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fairylands's Isaac Markou shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ronald Sedgman but with some difficulty. 84 minutes into the game, Daniel Clack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. York's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fairylands the free kick. Daniel Clack kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Brice Smee sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and York's Ronald Sedgman didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Connell in the 91st minute of play forced York's goalkeeper Ronald Sedgman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Clack hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ike Shortus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Renney's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
