Spectators: 7570 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Corder Fessa got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oakvale's zone, Bern Raison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Perrett came out of the goal and Bern Raison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bern Raison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Vaughan lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Kelmia Jets:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kelmia Jets's attentive Nathaniel Gissane managed to snatch the ball when Larkin Smoothey made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. A collision led to Oakvale getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kirk Millgate hit a great ball. Bern Raison charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bern Raison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Oakvale booed when Kelmia Jets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bern Raison didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Oakvale's Corder Fessa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodney Fessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kelmia Jets's Rodney Fessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corder Fessa in the 28th minute of play. Quincy Castner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Quincy Castner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Quincy Castner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kelmia Jets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Castner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Nathaniel Gissane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Oakvale were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathaniel Gissane to make the kick off. A collision led to Oakvale getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jeffray Algoud hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Gissane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cullen Perrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kelmia Jets's Nathaniel Gissane managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Larkin Smoothey in the 56 minute of the game. Nathaniel Gissane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Oakvale's Kirk Millgate ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodney Fessa. Rodney Fessa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Quincy Castner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cullen Perrett was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nathaniel Gissane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelmia Jets's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathaniel Gissane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cullen Perrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakvale's goalkeeper Cullen Perrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute Corder Fessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Fessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Kelmia Jets had been in control for most of the match, Oakvale still came away with the win.
