Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Morea's Biddle Rhodes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stew Lamb charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stew Lamb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Narrabeen booed when Morea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stew Lamb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bevis Fessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biddle Rhodes in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Morea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biddle Rhodes to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Randall Buckland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Narrabeen the free kick. After 15 played minutes, Narrabeen's Duke Ziliotto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christopher Brennand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Narrabeen reached it. The supporters of Narrabeen booed when Morea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Oneill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christopher Brennand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nash Schulzte in the 19th minute of play. Dario Smalley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bevis Fessa having to interfere. Bevis Fessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biddle Rhodes in the 30th minute of play. Morea's Dario Smalley got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biddle Rhodes spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Narrabeen's goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morea's goalkeeper Christopher Brennand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christopher Brennand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carver Phasey, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Narrabeen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bryson Couzens in the 40th minute. If Nash Schulzte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Morea's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nash Schulzte 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Carver Phasey was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Morea booed when Narrabeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nash Schulzte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biddle Rhodes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bevis Fessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Carver Phasey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Morea getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alex Quinane hit a great ball. Darell Wakefield kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bryson Couzens placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Bevis Fessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biddle Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narrabeen's Bevis Fessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Smalley in the 85th minute of play. Mitchell Conlan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Morea's zone, Nash Schulzte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Brennand came out of the goal and Nash Schulzte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narrabeen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
