Buck Mcgaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Smalley, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Roy Didlick lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Christopher Brennand. Morea's Christopher Brennand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bickford Facey in the 29th minute of play. Randall Buckland kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bickford Facey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Morea's Biddle Rhodes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Barney Millar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to blackwoood getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Potter Parryman hit a great ball. Dario Smalley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Buck Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biddle Rhodes to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Morea booed when blackwoood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Didlick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Smalley in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Buck Mcgaw, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 72 minutes of play, Morea's Dario Smalley made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buck Mcgaw was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christopher Brennand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Millar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Morea's Marco Kennewell got a free kick in the 75th minute. Bickford Facey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Brennand having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
