The supporters of Middlingbank booed when Llowalong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassidy Haeberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ringo Hess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clark Moorby, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Barney Marcola came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roy Twite could save by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clark Moorby was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clark Moorby in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ringo Hess saved Llowalong from getting behind. If Clark Moorby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ringo Hess stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clark Moorby's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Roy Twite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Mcwilliam in the 62nd minute of the match. Llowalong's Ringo Hess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Llowalong from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Moorby in the 70th minute of play forced Llowalong's goalkeeper Ringo Hess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Middlingbank's Clark Moorby in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Adolph Bower put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ringo Hess. Clark Moorby struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ringo Hess didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Middlingbank. Despite being the better team, Middlingbank failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
