Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmund Hanslow got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Middlingbank's Niles Goldsmith got a free kick in the 13th minute. Edmund Hanslow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roy Twite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clark Moorby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brookes Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clark Moorby in the 18th minute of play. Edmund Hanslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Twite having to interfere. Brookes Lawson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clark Moorby went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Brookes Lawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolph Bower in the 40th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clark Moorby to make the kick off. Brookes Lawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Moorby in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moonijin's zone, Clark Moorby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brookes Lawson came out of the goal and Clark Moorby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Hanslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Twite having to interfere. Roy Twite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Hanslow in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Rusty Mcenally mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moonijin and the Middlingbank players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rusty Mcenally hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Adolph Bower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Brookes Lawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Middlingbank's zone, Edmund Hanslow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Twite came out of the goal and Edmund Hanslow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Middlingbank got a freekick which was hit by Niles Goldsmith. Moonijin's Edmund Hanslow got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Behla in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Twite saved Middlingbank from getting behind. Carlos Wakefield kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Adolph Bower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niles Goldsmith got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Aaron Behla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolph Bower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Brookes Lawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Hanslow in the 93rd minute of play forced Middlingbank's goalkeeper Roy Twite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
