Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quincy Brading made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mungery's zone, Phillip Hines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arneil Beer came out of the goal and Phillip Hines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cliff Wege could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Arneil Beer made a huge save. Cliff Wege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Wickliffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kane Marsland to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quincy Brading in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brannan Stebbing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mungery! The referee gave Wickliffe a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Loud Flisfeder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mungery's Arneil Beer. 1-0. Quincy Brading struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Brannan Stebbing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mungery. If Quincy Brading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cliff Wege recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arneil Beer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Hines in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phillip Hines made a kick off. Phillip Hines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mungery's goalkeeper Arneil Beer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Phillip Hines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arneil Beer was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Quincy Brading got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 minutes, Kane Marsland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wickliffe and the Mungery players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Wickliffe got a freekick which was hit by Kane Marsland. After having played for 64 minutes, Phillip Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wickliffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillip Hines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Limmer during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Wickliffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Limmer to maneuver through the defense. Wickliffe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Quincy Brading 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.
