Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute Martyon Digiuseppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brannan Stebbing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Wickliffe's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Digiuseppe came free, but Brannan Stebbing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Cliff Wege who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kwolyin's Russ Atterton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Wickliffe booed when Kwolyin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyon Digiuseppe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Wickliffe getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cliff Wege hit a great ball. Kwolyin's Russ Atterton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Hines in the 29th minute of play. Phillip Hines took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Russ Atterton. Russ Atterton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kane Marsland hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Isaac Nurthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Isaac Nurthen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kwolyin's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Nurthen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brannan Stebbing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The wind increased when Martyon Digiuseppe made the kick off in the second half. Cliff Wege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brannan Stebbing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Nurthen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kane Marsland charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kane Marsland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kwolyin booed when Wickliffe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Marsland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Freel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wickliffe's goalkeeper Brannan Stebbing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Martyon Digiuseppe came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Kwolyin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martyon Digiuseppe couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Phillip Hines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Atterton was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Isaac Nurthen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Brannan Stebbing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rod Kreck kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Cliff Wege who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Russ Atterton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jordon Mcjunkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Hines in the 94th minute of play forced Kwolyin's goalkeeper Russ Atterton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
