In the 7th minute, Edwardo Stafford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Mingoola's goalkeeper Philip Luckham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Bielski. In the 13th minute, Bran Bennett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porter Haslett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Philip Luckham was a little too slow when Amos Rosenboom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mingoola's goalkeeper Philip Luckham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philip Luckham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Rosenboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Mingoola's Bran Bennett made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porter Haslett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ike Mcgrath hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Rodd Woodbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porter Haslett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Rodd Woodbridge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porter Haslett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bran Bennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodd Woodbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Ike Mcgrath was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mingoola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlgarin the free kick. Ike Mcgrath kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bran Bennett made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Duffield Adair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mingoola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlgarin the free kick. Duffield Adair hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Philip Luckham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Bielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Mingoola getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Reginald Maddern hit a great ball. Karlgarin's Burt Dillon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mingoola. After 63 played minutes Karlgarin got a freekick which was hit by Amos Rosenboom. After having played for 66 minutes, Duffield Adair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mingoola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duffield Adair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porter Haslett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodd Woodbridge in the 68th minute. Jeffers Pfingst's late challenge caught a Mingoola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffers Pfingst helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Karlgarin's Jeffers Pfingst got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Bart Bielski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlgarin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart Bielski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mingoola's zone, Bart Bielski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Luckham came out of the goal and Bart Bielski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mingoola's Ike Mcgrath got a free kick in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Bart Bielski put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Philip Luckham. 86 minutes into the game, Amos Rosenboom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Philip Luckham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 minutes of play Mingoola's Edwardo Stafford was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute, Edwardo Stafford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Luckham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Bielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Bielski in the 93rd minute of play forced Mingoola's goalkeeper Philip Luckham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karlgarin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mingoola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
