After 7 minutes, Richard Leyden made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hynam's Bruce Wittber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Winchester's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Norden came free, but Jagger Goring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Norden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jagger Goring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birrell Hoskin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Hynam's Parker Bowie got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hynam's Billy Norden in the 33rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jagger Goring was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Winchester through an amazing save. Winchester's Jagger Goring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Norden in the 39th minute of play. Parker Bowie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jagger Goring firmly grabbed it by the left post. A hard shot 44 in the game by Parker Bowie from a close distance when the talented Jagger Goring managed to make a qualified save. Winchester's players were relieved. Parker Bowie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Leyden was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Best Fallen got free with Bruce Wittber in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jagger Goring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Norden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hynam getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bryant Clark hit a great ball. Parker Bowie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jagger Goring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Winchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Clark to maneuver through the defense. Andres Terris kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Parker Bowie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jagger Goring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Winchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keefer Duggan to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Billy Norden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parker Bowie in the 78th minute of play forced Winchester's goalkeeper Jagger Goring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Woodbridge charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phillip Woodbridge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Hynam got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Woodbridge. Billy Norden might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jagger Goring. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Norden ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester's goalkeeper Jagger Goring, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Winchester's Berke Clark got a free kick in the 91st minute. Parker Bowie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jagger Goring having to interfere. When Berke Clark fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winchester's protests and gave Berke Clark a yellow card for diving instead. Although Hynam had been in control for most of the match, Winchester still came away with the win.
