The supporters of Yarraman booed when Woomera U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Davey Pinkerton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payne Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Woomera U18 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dalton Pywell hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Reese Smoothy notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Woomera U18's Payne Unicomb. Payne Unicomb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jenkins Haydock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loyd Hilton in the 18th minute of the match. The Woomera U18 fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Woomera U18's Roland Grigson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roland Grigson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jenkins Haydock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Grigson in the 26th minute of play forced Yarraman's goalkeeper Jenkins Haydock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Yarraman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Buckland to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Lauder Buckland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenkins Haydock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Grigson in the 35th minute of play. Payne Unicomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cullen Beckwith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Cullen Beckwith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yarraman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davey Pinkerton made a kick off. Payne Unicomb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cullen Beckwith in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Reese Smoothy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payne Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Lauder Buckland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payne Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Reese Smoothy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payne Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalton Pywell kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cullen Beckwith's late challenge caught a Woomera U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cullen Beckwith helped the player get up and apologised. Cullen Beckwith hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
