Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Winchester's Richard Leyden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeffers Pfingst hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Porter Haslett came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Winchester's Richard Leyden. But to his dismay, Richard Leyden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Karlgarin got a freekick which was hit by Ed James. 15 minutes into the match, Bart Bielski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jagger Goring. Winchester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Bielski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Amos Rosenboom struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jagger Goring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlgarin. In the 23rd minute, Randall Powderham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Bart Bielski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlgarin's Bart Bielski got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Porter Haslett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Leyden in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Amos Rosenboom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jagger Goring. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Karlgarin's Irwin Limmer got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Amos Rosenboom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlgarin's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Rosenboom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jagger Goring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bart Bielski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jagger Goring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Rosenboom in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Bernie Beaverley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlgarin the free kick. 54 minutes into the game, one of Winchester:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Karlgarin a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Burt Dillon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Winchester's Jagger Goring. 3-1. When Irwin Limmer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Karlgarin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irwin Limmer couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Rosenboom in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jagger Goring saved Winchester from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Winchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Ogle to maneuver through the defense. Winchester's Jagger Goring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Rosenboom in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Bart Bielski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlgarin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart Bielski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Winchester's zone, Amos Rosenboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jagger Goring came out of the goal and Amos Rosenboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Bart Bielski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winchester's Jagger Goring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bart Bielski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Berke Clark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffers Pfingst kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jagger Goring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irwin Limmer in the 87th minute of the match. Bart Bielski scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jagger Goring, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92ndth minute of the game Amos Rosenboom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winchester's Jagger Goring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Bart Bielski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jagger Goring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlgarin's Bart Bielski got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bart Bielski came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Karlgarin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Bielski couldn't finish the play. Karlgarin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
