Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Earnest Cubitt took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Glenreagh's goal looked a bit too open when Earnest Cubitt came free, but Carleton Newton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Greenough getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Russel Monson hit a great ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Greenough's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fletcher Cookesley was slow to take the kick. During this time Glenreagh's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Glenreagh's Aaron Fitton to fire away a dangerous shot which Carmichael Harkness despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Earnest Cubitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carleton Newton having to interfere. Glenreagh's Carleton Newton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Glenreagh from getting a goal against them. With 16 minutes on the clock, Cregan Adair commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fletcher Cookesley shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 20 minutes of play, Glenreagh's Jack Hauschildt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmichael Harkness was left in no man's land by his defense there! The corner ended in Russel Monson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glenreagh's Carleton Newton did a great save. 28 minutes into the game, Greenough's Rudolph Smee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carleton Newton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Darell Convine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Jack Hauschildt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmichael Harkness saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmichael Harkness made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Hauschildt in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Jack Hauschildt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carmichael Harkness was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudolph Smee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Glenreagh's goalkeeper Carleton Newton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolph Smee.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Hauschildt was the one to do the kick off. Greenough's Carmichael Harkness played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Hauschildt in the 51st minute of play. Carmichael Harkness made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Hauschildt in the 56th minute of play. With his leg Carmichael Harkness managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Glenreagh's Darell Convine fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darin Osbiston during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Greenough got a freekick which was hit by Darin Osbiston. A hard shot 69 in the game by Darell Convine from a close distance when the talented Carmichael Harkness managed to make a qualified save. Greenough's players were relieved. Darin Osbiston kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rudolph Smee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Rudolph Smee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Glenreagh's zone, Samuel Sayner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carleton Newton came out of the goal and Samuel Sayner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Greenough's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Hauschildt came free, but Carmichael Harkness reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Jack Hauschildt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmichael Harkness saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
