In the 11th minute Jack Hauschildt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Dowling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Darin Sobczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kookarabooka's Andrew Dowling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Kookarabooka from getting a goal against them. Carleton Newton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Mccarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kookarabooka's goalkeeper Andrew Dowling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rufus Mccarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Dowling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Hauschildt in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Darell Convine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrew Dowling. Kookarabooka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darell Convine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Kookarabooka fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Kookarabooka's Hal Anderson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Rufus Mccarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jack Hauschildt to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mack Coote had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrew Dowling. Kookarabooka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mack Coote was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 56th minute, Mack Coote made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Dowling. Kookarabooka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 59th minute, Payton Tinsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Mccarthy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Andrew Dowling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Sobczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Parker Moorby during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kookarabooka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Glenreagh. Fletcher Cookesley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrew Dowling. 6-1. Thanks to some nice moves Rufus Mccarthy could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Carleton Newton however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the game, Glenreagh's Mack Coote nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrew Dowling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Andrew Dowling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Hauschildt in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Darin Sobczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hal Anderson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Carleton Newton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kookarabooka. Rufus Mccarthy in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carleton Newton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hal Anderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Carleton Newton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrew Dowling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darin Sobczak in the 93rd minute of play.
