Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Broadmarsh's Brayden Slattery started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Youth Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abe Hemsley to maneuver through the defense. Barry Loch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raleigh Annis having to interfere. Darley Addison hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Broadmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Kennewell came free, but Raleigh Annis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed Laycock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Slattery in the 15th minute of play. If Barry Loch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Broadmarsh's Raleigh Annis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Loch in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Broadmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Darley Addison. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ned Schoenke during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Ned Schoenke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Abe Hemsley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raleigh Annis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rusty Trims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Barry Loch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Youth Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brayden Slattery fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Rusty Trims notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Youth Club's Ed Laycock. Ed Laycock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ed Laycock made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Rusty Trims sent off a good shot on target. Ned Schoenke kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Darrell Erwin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Curtis Kennewell to make the kick off. Broadmarsh's Brayden Slattery got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Rusty Trims cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ed Laycock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Youth Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rusty Trims came free, but Ed Laycock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Youth Club's Ed Laycock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusty Trims in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Alex Dale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Duggan, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rusty Trims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Laycock having to interfere. Brayden Slattery's late challenge caught a Youth Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brayden Slattery helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Broadmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Brayden Slattery. Ed Laycock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusty Trims in the 91st minute of play. If Rusty Trims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
