Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brayden Slattery took the kick off in the first half of the match. Earle Rhoades made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ned Schoenke in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Brayden Slattery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earle Rhoades. Waaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brayden Slattery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Broadmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Alford Rann came free, but Raleigh Annis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Ned Schoenke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earle Rhoades. Waaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ned Schoenke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 17 played minutes, Broadmarsh's Alexander Duggan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Earle Rhoades came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broadmarsh reached it. If Neil Bunworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Brotherton got free with Raleigh Annis in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brayden Slattery kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Earle Rhoades made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Slattery in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Broadmarsh's goalkeeper Raleigh Annis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Brotherton. Ned Schoenke hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Raleigh Annis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Rann in the 49th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryan Brotherton to make the kick off. Raleigh Annis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alford Rann in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Bryan Brotherton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broadmarsh's Raleigh Annis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Broadmarsh's Brayden Slattery dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Broadmarsh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Waaia:s goal. Ned Schoenke hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Bryan Brotherton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raleigh Annis having to interfere. Waaia's Bryan Brotherton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Broadmarsh's Raleigh Annis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Brotherton in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darley Addison in the 81st minute of play forced Waaia's goalkeeper Earle Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rusty Trims hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Alford Rann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryan Brotherton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raleigh Annis having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Waaia's Alford Rann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raleigh Annis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rusty Trims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earle Rhoades having to interfere. Raleigh Annis came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Waaia's Alford Rann. But to his dismay, Alford Rann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Although Waaia had been in control for most of the match, Broadmarsh still came away with the win.
