In the 30thth minute of the game Brookes Fitzsimmons who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suzan's Lorimer Ross was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Suzan's Bud Johnson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russ Pywell was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Brookes Fitzsimmons in the 36th minute of play forced Suzan's goalkeeper Lorimer Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aden Stageman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brookes Fitzsimmons made a kick off. Brockman Best's late challenge caught a Boolambayte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brockman Best helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Suzan's Brockman Best got a free kick in the 91st minute. 91 minutes into the match, Suzan's goal looked a bit too open when Jasmine Mcinnes came free, but Lorimer Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suzan's Lorimer Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brookes Fitzsimmons in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Suzan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
