Bray Snabl started the match with the kick off. Jackson Kirkham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antonia Bleazard came out and tried to block the shot, but Jackson Kirkham slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. If Dani Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Boorcan booed when Liverpool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Borserio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagan Schulze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Russ Stageman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Lamb hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dani Glover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bray Snabl fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool United's protests and gave Bray Snabl a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Dani Glover's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Stageman was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Dani Glover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Russ Stageman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Lamb kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bray Snabl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Russ Stageman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boorcan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dani Glover in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Russ Stageman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dani Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dani Glover to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Boorcan's Darryl Connolly shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Russ Stageman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boorcan reached it. Jackson Kirkham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Antonia Bleazard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jackson Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Dani Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Stageman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagan Schulze in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Russ Stageman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bray Snabl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonia Bleazard having to interfere. The supporters of Liverpool United booed when Boorcan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Roach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bray Snabl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Jackson Kirkham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boorcan's Antonia Bleazard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bray Snabl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navin Connolly hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Boorcan were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Liverpool United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darryl Connolly took the corner. After taking down the ball on Boorcan's corner Darryl Connolly fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Russ Stageman quite easily take care of the ball. Dani Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagan Schulze scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russ Stageman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Liverpool United had won after a very even match.
