The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Kinsey got free with Fabrizio Caddick in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lowrey Dollimore was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joshua Lenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Britton Solomon in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Ronald Kinsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dudley Country's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Kinsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Queens Park Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Rodd Awege. In the 24thth minute of the game Ronald Kinsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queens Park Wanderers's Fabrizio Caddick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Bradshaw Warren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dudley Country's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradshaw Warren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dudley Country's Bradshaw Warren got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Craig Boserio hit a great ball. Bradshaw Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Caddick having to interfere. In the 47th minute Ronald Kinsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Caddick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd match minute, Dudley Country was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clay Stanton to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Dudley Country's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Ludwick came free, but Joshua Lenard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Keith Palmington shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joshua Lenard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabrizio Caddick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arneil Convine went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Lowrey Dollimore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fabrizio Caddick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lowrey Dollimore in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Caddick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Kinsey in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Caddick saved Queens Park Wanderers from getting behind. Ronald Kinsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrizio Caddick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Bradshaw Warren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Dudley Country fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradshaw Warren couldn't finish the play. Corbett Minter kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Rodd Awege in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dudley Country's Clay Stanton. Joshua Lenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Ludwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Dudley Country's Lowrey Dollimore got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ronald Kinsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Caddick having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Queens Park Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Perrett to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dudley Country had played much better football throughout.
