Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ned Quelch took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hank Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cod Williams in the 3rd minute of play. Ned Quelch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Logan Biddell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Remington Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remington Hoey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Wahgunyah booed when Tasmania Incidence was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Keato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tasmania Incidence's Thomas Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hank Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Williams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Bradshaw Sewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hank Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Wahgunyah's Bradshaw Sewell made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hank Pack was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remington Hoey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cod Williams in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Ned Quelch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wahgunyah's Logan Biddell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ned Quelch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Logan Biddell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cod Williams to strike the kick off in the second half. When Crawford Gray fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasmania Incidence's protests and gave Crawford Gray a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tasmania Incidence getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Crawford Gray hit a great ball. Hank Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Williams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Wahgunyah's goal looked a bit too open when Ned Quelch came free, but Logan Biddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Tasmania Incidence got a freekick which was hit by Arnie Laughton. A collision led to Wahgunyah getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Barth Cameron hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack got control of the ball when Bradshaw Sewell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brendon Butterfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remington Hoey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Logan Biddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ned Quelch in the 71st minute of play. Remington Hoey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Biddell having to interfere. Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cod Williams in the 80th minute of play. Logan Biddell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ned Quelch, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 0-4 became the score in the 85th minute when Bradshaw Sewell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benny Powell charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benny Powell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hank Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Williams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradshaw Sewell took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hank Pack. Hank Pack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.
