Ace Grandison had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ned Quelch from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hank Pack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Fitzpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hank Pack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Fitzpatrick's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When Thomas Potter fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasmania Incidence's protests and gave Thomas Potter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Burnbank booed when Tasmania Incidence was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ned Quelch in the 15th minute of play forced Burnbank's goalkeeper Ace Grandison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Edwardo Glover mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnbank and the Tasmania Incidence players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Burnbank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Glover to maneuver through the defense. Tasmania Incidence's Remington Hoey got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Darren Fitzpatrick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hank Pack. Tasmania Incidence's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Fitzpatrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ned Quelch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Thomas Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Grandison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Jess Reisz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnbank and the Tasmania Incidence players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Burnbank getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jess Reisz hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Darren Fitzpatrick made the kick off in the second half. Otto Terris kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Bernie Burton missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Hank Pack right hand side. Remington Hoey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ace Grandison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Burnbank got a freekick which was hit by Jess Reisz. If Remington Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Burnbank's Jess Reisz got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Nilson Keato fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasmania Incidence's protests and gave Nilson Keato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Nilson Keato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darren Fitzpatrick in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hank Pack saved Tasmania Incidence from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Ned Quelch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasmania Incidence fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Darren Fitzpatrick was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Burnbank's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Nilson Keato was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Nilson Keato hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
