Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davey Pearson kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Jervois's Brendon Deeth got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ringo Bacon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fabrizio Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keefe Sibbold in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jervois's Berry Galvin got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes, Keefe Sibbold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenpatrick and the Jervois players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Keefe Sibbold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davey Pearson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernie Ridding kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Glenpatrick's keeper Neville Kepert was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ringo Bacon's late challenge caught a Jervois's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ringo Bacon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Glenpatrick's Ringo Bacon got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Brendon Deeth fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jervois's protests and gave Brendon Deeth a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jervois getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Brendon Deeth hit a great ball. Keefe Sibbold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrizio Beale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keefe Sibbold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Glenpatrick's Neville Kepert got control of the ball when Bernie Ridding tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keefe Sibbold to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Keefe Sibbold dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrizio Beale, 0-1. The supporters of Jervois booed when Glenpatrick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ringo Bacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernie Ridding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Benney Worrall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neville Kepert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 64th minute, Keefe Sibbold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neville Kepert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davey Pearson in the 67th minute of the match. Murphey Knevett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Beale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keefe Sibbold in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Bernie Ridding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jervois's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernie Ridding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neville Kepert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jervois fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Jervois's Bernie Ridding looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Jervois's Berry Galvin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Murphey Knevett could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Fabrizio Beale however easily saved by the left post. Jervois's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
