Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duncan Neich made the kick off which started today's match. If Bryanne Marcola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodney Riley hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Edison Locke in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Earle Beale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 13 minutes, Bryanne Marcola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toombullup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryanne Marcola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toombullup's Rodney Riley got his second yellow card of the match in the 14th minute. The referee ordered Rodney Riley off the ground. Rodney Riley kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Edison Locke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Earle Beale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bryanne Marcola might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Earle Beale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryanne Marcola ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bryanne Marcola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Larkins Blagburn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryanne Marcola hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Edison Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earle Beale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Marcola in the 35th minute of play forced Shyloh's goalkeeper Earle Beale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edison Locke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Larkins Blagburn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edison Locke came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Toombullup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edison Locke couldn't finish the play. Duncan Neich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Potter Diehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Toombullup's Edison Locke in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shyloh's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Potter Diehl managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Shyloh's Keefe Bowen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Potter Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keefe Bowen in the 67th minute. When Keefe Bowen came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Shyloh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keefe Bowen couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Keefe Bowen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toombullup's Ralph Roach couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shyloh. In the 76th match minute, Shyloh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larkins Blagburn to maneuver through the defense. Earle Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Locke in the 78th minute of the match. Bryanne Marcola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toombullup's Edison Locke got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Shyloh's Martin Weeks got a free kick in the 91st minute. Nathaniel Staggard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Edison Locke came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Toombullup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edison Locke couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Edison Locke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toombullup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Toombullup had played much better football throughout.
