Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bryanne Marcola got the match started through his kick off. Benney Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potter Diehl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Potter Durbin's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Potter Durbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toombullup's Potter Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remington Pearman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Locke in the 15th minute of the match. If Benney Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 18 played minutes Toombullup got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Staggard. Brombin's Remington Pearman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryanne Marcola in the 23rd minute of play. Nathaniel Staggard charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathaniel Staggard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Downing Weatherby was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Potter Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Potter Durbin in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Toombullup's goalkeeper Potter Diehl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benney Boston. When Bryanne Marcola came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Toombullup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryanne Marcola couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Toombullup's goalkeeper Potter Diehl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benney Boston. After having played for 40 minutes, Bryanne Marcola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toombullup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryanne Marcola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Brombin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Jackson to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brombin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ralph Roach was slow to take the kick. During this time Toombullup's players had a chance to rest. Toombullup's Ralph Roach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Remington Pearman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Potter Durbin to make the kick off. Potter Durbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potter Diehl having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Benney Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brombin's supporters rose to their feet, but Benney Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Potter Diehl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Potter Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benney Boston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Potter Diehl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Potter Durbin went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Toombullup's Edison Locke got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Toombullup's Bryanne Marcola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remington Pearman. Remington Pearman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Gregg Kirkham kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ralph Roach was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Brombin booed when Toombullup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Missen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benney Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Potter Diehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benney Boston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Potter Diehl was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rdth minute of the game Potter Durbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toombullup's Potter Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Potter Flesfader kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Potter Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Potter Durbin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Benney Boston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Brombin booed when Toombullup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Staggard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Edison Locke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Remington Pearman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Toombullup players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
