Spectators: 7321 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Drew Triplett got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Marek Hamsik United's zone, Davey Kuskopf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arneil Maunsell came out of the goal and Davey Kuskopf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baxter Haeberle in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Maunsell saved Marek Hamsik United from getting behind. Davey Kuskopf might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arneil Maunsell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davey Kuskopf ran back to his position shaking his head. When Baxter Haeberle came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Collie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baxter Haeberle couldn't finish the play. If Davey Kuskopf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davey Kuskopf in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Maunsell saved Marek Hamsik United from getting behind. Arneil Maunsell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davey Kuskopf, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Davey Kuskopf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arneil Maunsell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Arneil Maunsell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davey Kuskopf in the 42nd minute of play. Blake Letsch hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Collie's Davey Kuskopf made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arneil Maunsell was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davey Kuskopf to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Collie's Bryden Trezise got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Drew Triplett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Alexander Thorne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marek Hamsik United the free kick. After 56 played minutes Collie got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Thorne. 59 minutes into the match, Baxter Haeberle notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Marek Hamsik United's Arneil Maunsell. Arneil Maunsell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arneil Maunsell made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Baxter Haeberle sent off a good shot on target. Baxter Haeberle struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Arneil Maunsell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Collie. In the 70th match minute, Marek Hamsik United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake Letsch to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davey Kuskopf in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Maunsell saved Marek Hamsik United from getting behind. When Brant See fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Collie's protests and gave Brant See a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marek Hamsik United booed when Collie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brant See didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brynn Lascelles's late challenge caught a Collie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brynn Lascelles helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Marek Hamsik United got a freekick which was hit by Brynn Lascelles. 79 minutes into the match, Marek Hamsik United's goalkeeper Arneil Maunsell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baxter Haeberle. Davey Kuskopf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Maunsell having to interfere. Marek Hamsik United's Arneil Maunsell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davey Kuskopf in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Davey Kuskopf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davey Kuskopf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davey Kuskopf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baxter Haeberle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Arneil Maunsell made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Marek Hamsik United's goalkeeper Arneil Maunsell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baxter Haeberle. Collie played a much better game than Marek Hamsik United and deserved their victory. The Marek Hamsik United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
