Biddle Mccormick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Triplett in the 15th minute of the match. Darrell Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arneil Maunsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Nathaniel Huther shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arneil Maunsell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Russel Deal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Maunsell having to interfere. The supporters of Marek Hamsik United booed when Uralla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eavan Bennett didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benedict Millard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Benedict Millard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Biddle Mccormick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ike Muncaster fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marek Hamsik United's protests and gave Ike Muncaster a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marek Hamsik United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ike Muncaster hit a great ball. Arneil Maunsell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Burns Coleman. Uralla's Darrell Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Triplett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Biddle Mccormick made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Drew Triplett sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 55 minutes, Darrell Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uralla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrell Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drew Triplett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drew Triplett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Biddle Mccormick came out and tried to block the shot, but Drew Triplett slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedict Millard got free with Biddle Mccormick in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darrell Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arneil Maunsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darrell Lorenz in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arneil Maunsell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russel Deal in the 84th minute of play forced Marek Hamsik United's goalkeeper Arneil Maunsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Marek Hamsik United's goal looked a bit too open when Darrell Lorenz came free, but Arneil Maunsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marek Hamsik United's Brad Benton got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Remy Vickery sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marek Hamsik United's Arneil Maunsell didn't even have to move. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marek Hamsik United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
