If Neale Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Brand Stockwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kikoira's supporters rose to their feet, but Brand Stockwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arneil Maunsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neale Askew in the 13th minute of play forced Marek Hamsik United's goalkeeper Arneil Maunsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blake Letsch's late challenge caught a Kikoira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blake Letsch helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Marek Hamsik United got a freekick which was hit by Blake Letsch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neale Askew in the 19th minute of play forced Marek Hamsik United's goalkeeper Arneil Maunsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Logan Rowden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedict Millard in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Marek Hamsik United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Blake Letsch hit a great ball. Arneil Maunsell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brand Stockwin in the 36th minute of the match. Adam Prinsep's late challenge caught a Marek Hamsik United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40thth minute of the game Neale Askew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marek Hamsik United's Arneil Maunsell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Brand Stockwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neale Askew stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benedict Millard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Bernard Telfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arneil Maunsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arneil Maunsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neale Askew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neale Askew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arneil Maunsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brand Stockwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brand Stockwin got free with Arneil Maunsell in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brand Stockwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Neale Askew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kikoira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neale Askew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Neale Askew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marek Hamsik United's Arneil Maunsell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 played minutes Kikoira got a freekick which was hit by Adam Prinsep. Neale Askew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
