A collision led to Collie getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Drake Lander hit a great ball. If Alfred Breasley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Mcroberts hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Davey Kuskopf struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Arneil Hitchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Collie. Dan Harkness kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Iraklis's Arneil Hitchen got control of the ball when Baxter Haeberle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Burtt Park sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Collie's Arneil Hitchen threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Davey Kuskopf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Burtt Park fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooker Surman having to interfere. When Iraklis's Alfred Breasley in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Brooker Surman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 28 minutes into the match, Collie's Davey Kuskopf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arneil Hitchen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Davey Kuskopf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baxter Haeberle got free with Arneil Hitchen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arneil Hitchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baxter Haeberle went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Iraklis's goalkeeper Arneil Hitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baxter Haeberle. Davey Kuskopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Arneil Hitchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baxter Haeberle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arneil Hitchen having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 65th match minute, Iraklis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randolph Best to maneuver through the defense. Baxter Haeberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Bert Mcroberts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iraklis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Collie the free kick. Bert Mcroberts hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Baxter Haeberle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arneil Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davey Kuskopf, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Arneil Hitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baxter Haeberle in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Burtt Park got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arneil Hitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davey Kuskopf in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Davey Kuskopf notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Iraklis's Arneil Hitchen. Arneil Hitchen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Collie walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
