Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Neale Askew rounded Alva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Andy Schulzte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Rowden having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwards Tongs in the 17th minute of play forced Kikoira's goalkeeper Logan Rowden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Darian Kuskopf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kikoira the free kick. After 19 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Darian Kuskopf. Logan Rowden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Schulzte in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neale Askew in the 26th minute of play forced Alva's goalkeeper Max Toomey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwards Tongs scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Logan Rowden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neale Askew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Toomey having to make a save. Andy Schulzte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Rowden having to interfere. If Andy Schulzte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Logan Rowden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schulzte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Alva's Edwards Tongs made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Logan Rowden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edwards Tongs might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Logan Rowden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwards Tongs ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Max Toomey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neale Askew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Schutt hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Andy Schulzte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alva's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Schulzte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Logan Rowden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Toomey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brand Stockwin in the 58th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Dean Schutt. Everitt Turnbull took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Max Toomey. Alva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Kikoira booed when Alva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Schutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwards Tongs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Logan Rowden made a huge save. Edwards Tongs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Alva's Edwards Tongs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Logan Rowden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Neale Askew ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Toomey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Kikoira's Logan Rowden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Schulzte in the 85th minute of play. Andy Schulzte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Rowden having to interfere. Neale Askew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Toomey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Edwards Tongs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Logan Rowden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kikoira succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alva had controlled the match.
