Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlisle Egel made the kick off which started today's match. Karl Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Blattman in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, York was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Palmington to maneuver through the defense. Karl Wenham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Blattman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Preston Pegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunbogan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Preston Pegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, York's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Pegler came free, but Karl Wenham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preston Pegler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dunbogan's Jamie Blattman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jamie Blattman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Karl Wenham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Munroe Anders sped through York's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl Wenham. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jamie Blattman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunbogan's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Blattman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Wenham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elliott Mueller hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dunbogan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Todd Beverly in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Todd Beverly almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but York's Karl Wenham did a great save. In the 46th match minute, York was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Mcjunkin to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Preston Pegler made a kick off. With a little luck, York's Karl Wenham got control of the ball when Jamie Blattman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Marcus Palmington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preston Pegler in the 58th minute of the match. Karl Wenham was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Preston Pegler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Preston Pegler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 65 played minutes York got a freekick which was hit by Hank Whitsitt. Todd Beverly shot from long distance in the 66th minute, but Karl Wenham was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Karl Wenham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Pegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Dunbogan got a corner. York's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Todd Beverly ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jamie Blattman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hank Whitsitt charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hank Whitsitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dunbogan booed when York was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hank Whitsitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Todd Beverly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Wenham skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Dunbogan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than York.
