The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Septimus's Stewart Beale got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Brookes Fison struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Iggi Favas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmervill. 9 minutes into the match, Lawrance Maybury had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iggi Favas. Septimus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lawrance Maybury was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Brookes Fison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Septimus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmervill the free kick. The supporters of Palmervill booed when Septimus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Bonham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lawrance Maybury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Connor Dalglish showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bock Pukallus, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Iggi Favas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrance Maybury in the 38th minute of play. Connor Dalglish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baxter Hinwood in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Palmervill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Biddell to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Septimus booed when Palmervill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrance Maybury didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lawrance Maybury was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Brookes Fison put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iggi Favas. Brookes Fison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iggi Favas having to interfere. Brookes Fison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Iggi Favas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bock Pukallus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Lawrance Maybury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Favas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brookes Fison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrance Maybury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iggi Favas having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Baxter Hinwood got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Palmervill's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
