Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jones Pinhey made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Quantong's Arne Tearle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfred Johnson. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. The attack was good, but when Nathan Norman in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Alfred Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Tearle in the 13th minute of the match. If Arne Tearle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quantong's Earle Potter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Mcmillan in the 22nd minute of play. Earl Benton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Jones Pinhey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Earle Potter was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Earl Benton struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Alfred Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quantong. Alfred Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Tearle in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Arne Tearle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfred Johnson. Arne Tearle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Earl Benton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Alfred Johnson made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Earl Benton put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Johnson.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Tearle to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Tearle in the 56th minute of play forced Cannington's goalkeeper Alfred Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Quantong's corner Jayden Hilton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfred Johnson quite easily take care of the ball. If Arne Tearle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Quantong's Arne Tearle in 67 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alfred Johnson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Arne Tearle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Johnson having to interfere. Jordon Durbin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cannington getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dane Nolan hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Cannington's Jones Pinhey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Earle Potter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jones Pinhey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cannington booed when Quantong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Keato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Earle Potter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathan Norman in the 91st minute.
