Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dapto's Dalwood Skurrie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blade Cuddihy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Dalwood Skurrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Lewis Leyden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dapto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Leyden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalwood Skurrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Archie Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalwood Skurrie in the 13th minute of play. Andy Kirkham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacosta Rafferty, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With his leg Andy Kirkham managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Minbrie's Ryan Kaine fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Dalwood Skurrie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minbrie's Archie Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Dalwood Skurrie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Archie Thomas. Minbrie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalwood Skurrie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute, Dalwood Skurrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archie Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blade Cuddihy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Leyden in the 39th minute of play forced Minbrie's goalkeeper Archie Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dalwood Skurrie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Archie Thomas was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Dalwood Skurrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalwood Skurrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Markwell struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Archie Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dapto.

Dalwood Skurrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Archie Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Bruce Conlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minbrie and the Dapto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalwood Skurrie might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Archie Thomas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalwood Skurrie ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Dapto's Dalwood Skurrie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Archie Thomas. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Evan Crampton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Archie Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalwood Skurrie in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Dalwood Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Minbrie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dapto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
