Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kuringup's Rufus Rose started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Kuringup's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Markwell came free, but Adolfo Wirth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Kirkham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryson Beckwith in the 8th minute. Adolfo Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalwood Skurrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dalwood Skurrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kuringup's zone, Dalwood Skurrie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Wirth came out of the goal and Dalwood Skurrie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicholas Markwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Dalwood Skurrie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dapto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 26th minute, Rufus Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Dalwood Skurrie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuringup's Adolfo Wirth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalwood Skurrie scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Wirth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dale Dollimore might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Wirth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dollimore ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Kuringup's Brennan Dillon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brennan Dillon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kuringup protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brennan Dillon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Kuringup:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dapto:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalwood Skurrie in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Wirth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Wirth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicholas Markwell went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dapto's Dalwood Skurrie got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalwood Skurrie to strike the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Wirth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalwood Skurrie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryson Beckwith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Kirkham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dalwood Skurrie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Wirth was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Dapto's Dalwood Skurrie got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryson Beckwith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Kirkham having to interfere. Bryson Beckwith scored 1-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Kirkham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Dalwood Skurrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryson Beckwith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Andy Kirkham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Dapto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodd Rutledge to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Bryson Beckwith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuringup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryson Beckwith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Markwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Dapto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kuringup.
