Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aaron Byrnes made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes, Edmonds Paynter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taurunum and the Belmore Bronx players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Taurunum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmonds Paynter to maneuver through the defense. Rex Chamberlain scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ozzie Barclay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Pete Giles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzie Barclay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Mcroberts's late challenge caught a Taurunum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvin Mcroberts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Belmore Bronx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Mcroberts to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Belmore Bronx's goalkeeper Reginald Slattery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Locke. After a rather tough play, Taurunum's Brooks Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Pete Giles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Taurunum got a freekick which was hit by Brooks Mcwilliam. Pete Giles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ozzie Barclay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Byrnes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Taurunum's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Edmonds Paynter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Peter Locke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taurunum's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Locke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginald Slattery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belmore Bronx's Reginald Slattery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Byrnes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Peter Locke fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Reginald Slattery, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Belmore Bronx defense, Peter Locke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reginald Slattery. The Belmore Bronx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reginald Slattery should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pete Giles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Taurunum's Aaron Byrnes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belmore Bronx's goalie prevented a goal. When Aaron Byrnes came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Taurunum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Byrnes couldn't finish the play. Aaron Byrnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Taurunum's Aaron Byrnes in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belmore Bronx's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute Peter Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald Slattery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play, Taurunum's Aaron Byrnes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reginald Slattery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bray Conlin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Aaron Byrnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 100th minute, Bray Conlin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belmore Bronx's Reginald Slattery didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taurunum had won after a very even match.
