Humphry Minton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Downing Minton, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Eavan Bower scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humphry Minton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Biddle Lewry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphry Minton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Travers in the 27th minute of play forced Wolf Pack's goalkeeper Phenix Greenan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brookfield's Bleyd Rowdon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Phenix Greenan but with some difficulty. If Downing Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eavan Bower succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Kennedy in the 43rd minute of play forced Wolf Pack's goalkeeper Phenix Greenan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Downing Minton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Humphry Minton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eavan Bower made a kick off. Jonathan Conlin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Phenix Greenan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ringo Travers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Wolf Pack's goal looked a bit too open when Duffield Busst came free, but Phenix Greenan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eavan Bower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eavan Bower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humphry Minton having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Wolf Pack's Eavan Bower dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After some careless play in the Brookfield defense, Eavan Bower kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humphry Minton. The Brookfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humphry Minton should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eavan Bower in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humphry Minton saved Brookfield from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eavan Bower got free with Humphry Minton in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute of the match, Biddle Lewry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Humphry Minton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 90 played minutes Brookfield got a freekick which was hit by Marshal Tongs. A collision led to Wolf Pack getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bern Coote hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Wolf Pack left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brookfield.
