Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Montero United's Dacosta Hemsley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grant Vaisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Downing Minton in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Montero United got a freekick which was hit by Boris Kernick. Dacosta Hemsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phenix Greenan having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wolf Pack defense, Earle Brooks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phenix Greenan. The Wolf Pack fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phenix Greenan should have stopped the shot. Montero United's Grant Vaisey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eavan Bower in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Wolf Pack's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Renny came free, but Phenix Greenan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Renny in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phenix Greenan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Earle Brooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phenix Greenan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Bower in the 27th minute of play forced Montero United's goalkeeper Grant Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Clifford Cridland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolf Pack's supporters rose to their feet, but Clifford Cridland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Vaisey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eavan Bower blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grant Vaisey having to make a save. In the 31st match minute, Montero United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Kernick to maneuver through the defense. Grant Vaisey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eavan Bower showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Clifford Cridland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Vaisey having to interfere. Downing Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eavan Bower was the one to do the kick off. Eavan Bower struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Grant Vaisey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolf Pack. Eavan Bower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grant Vaisey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biddle Lewry in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Downing Minton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Eavan Bower managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Bower in the 69th minute of play forced Montero United's goalkeeper Grant Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Eavan Bower left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolf Pack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eavan Bower in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grant Vaisey saved Montero United from getting behind. Grant Vaisey came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolf Pack's Downing Minton. But to his dismay, Downing Minton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 78th minute, Eavan Bower ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Vaisey was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Boris Kernick charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Kernick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montero United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Boris Kernick hit a great ball. If Eavan Bower had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Renny's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Phenix Greenan firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wolf Pack had played much better football throughout.
