Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mack Bonham took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Hindmarsh's Alvin Lawson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alvin Lawson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hindmarsh protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alvin Lawson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Hindmarsh's Alvin Lawson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Mack Bonham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalton Salcedo skillfully saved the ball. Gregory Winkless came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Corey Virgin could save by the left post. In the 8th minute, Gregory Winkless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Carl Quinn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beechina's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Quinn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalton Salcedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beechina's Corey Virgin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Beechina from getting a goal against them. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 23rd minute, but Corey Virgin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Beechina hanging dry this time. When Gregory Winkless, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Corey Virgin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Jacob Cridland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalton Salcedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Quinn in the 38th minute of the match. Gregory Winkless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregory Winkless during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Carl Quinn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beechina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Beechina were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gregory Winkless made the kick off in the second half. Carl Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mack Bonham took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalton Salcedo. Dalton Salcedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mack Bonham got free with Dalton Salcedo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jonty Gledden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hindmarsh booed when Beechina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Fitton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Hindmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Quinn came free, but Dalton Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hindmarsh's Dalton Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Quinn in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gregory Winkless got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Mack Bonham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dalton Salcedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregory Winkless received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Corey Virgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hindmarsh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Mack Bonham scored to the left of an out of position Dalton Salcedo, making the score, 1-6. The audience was convinced that Carl Quinn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalton Salcedo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Beechina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Beechina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
