Douglas Sparks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hank Munster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Legends getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ike Hunter hit a great ball. Douglas Sparks made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Myles Obree sent off a good shot on target. Lowmead's Hank Munster got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Martin Everett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If George Markou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, Lowmead's Myles Obree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Sparks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Keith Fulton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With his leg Douglas Sparks managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Lowmead's Myles Obree fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Legends's zone, Hank Munster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Sparks came out of the goal and Hank Munster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, George Markou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legends's supporters rose to their feet, but George Markou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwards Kuch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hank Munster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Douglas Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Sparks was a little too slow when Hank Munster got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Hank Munster made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hank Munster in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Sparks saved Legends from getting behind. In the 55thth minute of the game Hank Munster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legends's Douglas Sparks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Myles Obree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match Keefe Tresise shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Sparks showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Legends getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rodney Kidman hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Myles Obree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Sparks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Munster in the 79th minute of play forced Legends's goalkeeper Douglas Sparks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Sparks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Hank Munster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Sparks having to interfere.
