With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmichael Huntington in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cregan Grandison saved Little River Lions from getting behind. Ren Goodwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cregan Grandison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ed Balaam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luke Butterworth. Cobbadah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Balaam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 24th minute Conner Kesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Butterworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luke Butterworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conner Kesi in the 26th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Aaron Easther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Little River Lions and the Cobbadah players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Little River Lions got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Easther. In the 45thth minute of the game Carmichael Huntington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Little River Lions's Cregan Grandison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmichael Huntington was the one to do the kick off. Cregan Grandison made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Carmichael Huntington sent off a good shot on target. Luke Butterworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conner Kesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ed Balaam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Cobbadah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arneil Warren to maneuver through the defense. When Conner Kesi fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Little River Lions's protests and gave Conner Kesi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Little River Lions's Conner Kesi got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Little River Lions's Cregan Grandison got control of the ball when Carmichael Huntington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cregan Grandison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cobbadah's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmichael Huntington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cregan Grandison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Balaam in the 84th minute of play forced Cobbadah's goalkeeper Luke Butterworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Missen got free with Cregan Grandison in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Ed Balaam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Butterworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmichael Huntington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cobbadah were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
