Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eddy Christina got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Clermont got a freekick which was hit by Conner Teuma. 5 minutes into the game, Bryant Jobson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clermont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hatherleigh the free kick. In the 6th minute, Bryant Jobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clermont's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Potter Osbiston was slow to take the kick. During this time Hatherleigh's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Potter Osbiston almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clermont's Tommy Kreck did a great save. Stewart Harkness kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Hatherleigh's Potter Osbiston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clermont. In the 20th minute, Conner Teuma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clermont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hatherleigh's zone, Dakota Munster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Keato came out of the goal and Dakota Munster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Ridding got free with Tommy Kreck in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Carter Ridding in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tommy Kreck had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dakota Munster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Clermont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Quigley to maneuver through the defense. Potter Osbiston was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nilson Quigley hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Hatherleigh's Eddy Christina in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clermont's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Conner Teuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Keato having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Dakota Munster fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dan Keato, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Hatherleigh's Douglas Adamson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Dakota Munster came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Clermont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dakota Munster couldn't finish the play. Dan Keato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dakota Munster in the 89th minute of play. Conner Teuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dan Keato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatherleigh's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dakota Munster 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Dakota Munster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Keato having to interfere.
