Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bock Batterham took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Telarah's zone, Bock Batterham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brennan Lord came out of the goal and Bock Batterham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abbott Mccartan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jasmine Oneill's late challenge caught a Kooroongarra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasmine Oneill helped the player get up and apologised. Jasmine Oneill hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Edmund Kernick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bjorn Triplett made a huge save. Bjorn Triplett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Borserio in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cole Mcgrath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telarah's supporters rose to their feet, but Cole Mcgrath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bjorn Triplett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Kooroongarra's goal looked a bit too open when Cole Mcgrath came free, but Bjorn Triplett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edwin Borserio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin Borserio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bjorn Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kooroongarra's Bjorn Triplett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Kooroongarra from getting a goal against them. Brennan Lord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bock Batterham, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cole Mcgrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Triplett having to interfere. Kooroongarra's Bjorn Triplett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Mcgrath in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cole Mcgrath was the one to do the kick off. Cole Mcgrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Triplett having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Andres Lowes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kooroongarra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Lowes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Cole Mcgrath had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bjorn Triplett. Kooroongarra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cole Mcgrath was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 73rd minute Jasmine Oneill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjorn Triplett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes, Telarah's Buck Heys shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bjorn Triplett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Telarah reached it. Andres Lowes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Telarah's Edmund Kernick got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bjorn Triplett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Mcgrath in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Clifford Laing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kooroongarra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Telarah the free kick. Clifford Laing kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Joshua Delbridge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bjorn Triplett skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Kooroongarra defense, Edwin Borserio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bjorn Triplett. The Kooroongarra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bjorn Triplett should have stopped the shot. Telarah walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
