The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesse Rennie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Mccormick in the 20th minute of play forced Price's goalkeeper Matthias Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Price's Abe Egel in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Japoonvale's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 played minutes Japoonvale got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Mccormick. Jeremy Paddle struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jesse Rennie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Price. Bern Baptiste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Clubley having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Japoonvale's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Egel came free, but Jesse Rennie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Japoonvale's zone, Abe Egel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesse Rennie came out of the goal and Abe Egel tried to chip the ball over his head. Japoonvale's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
