Barnard Orr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cole Mcgrath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cole Mcgrath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Edwin Borserio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telarah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Borserio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brennan Lord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Blagburn in the 57th minute of the match. Edwin Borserio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnard Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cliff Oreilly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Brennan Lord made a huge save. Cliff Oreilly struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Brennan Lord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elwood. Lawrance Virgin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrance Virgin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elwood getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lawrance Virgin hit a great ball.
