Jeremy Paddle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Clubley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmonds See, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Abe Egel struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Randolph Buckland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Price. Jeremy Paddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randolph Buckland having to interfere. Abe Egel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gundary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Abe Egel scored to the left of an out of position Randolph Buckland, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Paddle got free with Randolph Buckland in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Price's Abe Egel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Randolph Buckland. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Matthias Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Rhoades in the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmonds See to strike the kick off in the second half. Burns Haslem's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matthias Clubley firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abe Egel in the 57th minute of play forced Gundary's goalkeeper Randolph Buckland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Patrick Bowie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Price's Matthias Clubley got control of the ball when Rod Rhoades tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Bowie kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Price got a freekick which was hit by Abe Egel. Rod Rhoades succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 68th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abe Egel in the 74th minute of play forced Gundary's goalkeeper Randolph Buckland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Gundary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stewart Cuddihy to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Jeremy Paddle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randolph Buckland was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gundary's zone, Jeremy Paddle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randolph Buckland came out of the goal and Jeremy Paddle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Jeremy Paddle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Price's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremy Paddle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jeremy Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Price players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
