Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kooroongarra were furious when Abbott Mccartan was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 5 minutes into the game, one of Kooroongarra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 13 played minutes Kooroongarra got a freekick which was hit by Keefe Letsch. In the 14th minute of the match Jack Hardiman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bjorn Triplett skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Kooroongarra's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Egel came free, but Bjorn Triplett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Jeremy Paddle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Price's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremy Paddle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bjorn Triplett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Egel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jeremy Paddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bjorn Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kooroongarra's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Egel came free, but Bjorn Triplett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Price booed when Kooroongarra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clifford Laing didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kooroongarra getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Clifford Laing hit a great ball. If Jeremy Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremy Paddle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Abe Egel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bjorn Triplett. In the 38th minute, Kooroongarra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeremy Paddle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Jeremy Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match Jack Hardiman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bjorn Triplett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Abe Egel made the kick off in the second half. Abe Egel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Kooroongarra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Shortus to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Paddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeremy Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Abe Egel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Price fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abe Egel couldn't finish the play. Bjorn Triplett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Paddle in the 71st minute of play. Abe Egel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Abe Egel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bjorn Triplett was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Bjorn Triplett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Paddle in the 79th minute of the match. Abe Egel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Triplett having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kooroongarra's zone, Abe Egel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjorn Triplett came out of the goal and Abe Egel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Lowes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Matthias Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bjorn Triplett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Egel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Price walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
