Jemmett Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Staworowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jemmett Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Veitch in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Donks getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tony Brandie hit a great ball. Jemmett Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remington Kennedy in the 39th minute of play. Aaron Staworowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jemmett Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonia Markou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buchanan Roach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Alan Veitch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aaron Staworowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the game, Damon Wilde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jemmett Ryan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Andover were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonia Markou to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Staworowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Donks's goalkeeper Jemmett Ryan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Remington Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Staworowski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Andover's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 79 minutes into the match, Andover's goal looked a bit too open when Antonia Markou came free, but Buchanan Roach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buchanan Roach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonia Markou's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Aaron Staworowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andover played a much better game than FC Donks and deserved their victory. The FC Donks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
