Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ingham's Neale Howie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Kiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4 minutes into the game, Bath Czaczka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ingham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Song Lam Nghe An the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ingham's Bath Czaczka got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Potter Dobson fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Song Lam Nghe An's protests and gave Potter Dobson a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Song Lam Nghe An got a freekick which was hit by Potter Dobson. Song Lam Nghe An's Jonathan Auger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neale Howie in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Neil Leach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Auger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neale Howie hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kevin Hodgson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Song Lam Nghe An's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Hodgson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rich Vaisey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neale Howie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Auger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Neale Howie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Auger. Neale Howie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Neil Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Auger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Neale Howie came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neale Howie couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Neale Howie sped through Song Lam Nghe An's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Auger. Jonathan Auger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neil Leach went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Hodgson to strike the kick off in the second half. Crawford Alwege hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Neale Howie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Auger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neil Leach might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Auger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neil Leach ran back to his position shaking his head. Neale Howie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Auger having to interfere. Neale Howie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neil Leach might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Auger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neil Leach ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neale Howie in the 70th minute of play forced Song Lam Nghe An's goalkeeper Jonathan Auger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Leach struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jonathan Auger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingham. Neil Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Auger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Song Lam Nghe An was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Potter Dobson to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Jamese Natt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Auger skillfully saved the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Song Lam Nghe An's goal looked a bit too open when Neale Howie came free, but Jonathan Auger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neale Howie in the 96th minute of play forced Song Lam Nghe An's goalkeeper Jonathan Auger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingham walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
