The supporters of Calingiri booed when Silverspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonia Boserio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ethan Holdsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kent Freeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Holdsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Kent Freeman came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Calingiri's Ethan Holdsworth. But to his dismay, Ethan Holdsworth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ethan Holdsworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlton Devere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackson Hess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reese Powderham hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Calingiri's zone, Clark Kerville stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlton Devere came out of the goal and Clark Kerville tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loud Venz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ethan Holdsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Freeman having to interfere. Calingiri's Ray Goodbun got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ethan Holdsworth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Freeman was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Ren Byrnes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jackson Hess to strike the kick off in the second half. Ray Goodbun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Kent Freeman made a huge save. Ray Goodbun scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Freeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Kent Freeman managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Calingiri's Ray Goodbun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Ethan Holdsworth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kent Freeman, 1-3. If Ethan Holdsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Calingiri booed when Silverspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clark Kerville didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ethan Holdsworth in the 80th minute of play forced Silverspur's goalkeeper Kent Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Silverspur's goalkeeper Kent Freeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ray Goodbun. Calingiri's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
