Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 0) Jackson Hess started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Nambucca's Bray Merz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bray Merz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nambucca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bray Merz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 3 minutes into the game, one of Nambucca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Silverspur a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clark Kerville, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nambucca's Dante Willding. 1-0. Dante Willding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Hess in the 13th minute of play. Bart Coldicutt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kent Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Behla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Silverspur booed when Nambucca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Renney didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ren Byrnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jackson Hess's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Willding read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bart Coldicutt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Freeman. Silverspur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Coldicutt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Brandon Renney notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Silverspur's Kent Freeman. Kent Freeman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bart Coldicutt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joseph Alchin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nambucca's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Alchin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Freeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bart Coldicutt made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Andy Pegler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silverspur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nambucca the free kick. The supporters of Nambucca booed when Silverspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Pegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Coldicutt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kent Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart Coldicutt got free with Kent Freeman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent Freeman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bart Coldicutt sent off a good shot on target. Silverspur's Kent Freeman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Silverspur from getting a goal against them. Bevis Baxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon Renney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kent Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Silverspur's goalkeeper Kent Freeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Coldicutt. When Brandon Renney fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nambucca's protests and gave Brandon Renney a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nambucca's Brandon Renney got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Christian Behla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Freeman having to interfere. 88 minutes in the game, Bart Coldicutt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kent Freeman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Silverspur's James Byrnes got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Silverspur fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nambucca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
